Fishing Report 9/8/23

Lower Sac is still firing off!

Plenty of fish to go around, lot's of double up's, working through the smaller size fish to find the bigger fish has been very productive!

The big fish are around and ready to play ball.

Mayfly hatches are starting to get the fish's attention more and more, taking priority over the caddis hatch, unless the conditions are correct for the caddis.

The cooler nights are slowing down the caddis bite down, its slowly coming to an end, then mayflies and eventually eggs will be on the menu.

Indicator nymphing has been deadly, while dry dropper is becoming more of an option as the flows lower.

Several fun ways to get them.

Flows are lowering to the 8k CFS range.

Those certain spots that weren't so fishy at high flows are now starting to hold a lot more fish.

The weather is perfect for floating the lower sac, & the fishing is insane right now, Come get some!
