Fly
Fishing Techniques

IMG_6197.heic

Advanced Indicator Nymphing

This method is best for big rivers and steelhead fishing.

Long leaders, multiple flies, and heavy weight.

Indicator Nymphing

This can be a small river tactic or still water tactic.

A much simpler method of indicator nymphing.

Smaller indicator, short leader, light weight.

Dry Fly / Dry Dropper

The holy grail of fly fishing a single dry fly rig, is often all you need to fool some nice trout feeding on the surface.

And if that does not work we will use a dry "dropper" which is a nymph tied below a dry fly. Best of both worlds.

Euro Nymphing

This technique is just plain deadly.

Best reserved for pocket water, and walk & wade trips.

This is a technique you will want to learn.
